In your invitation editor, go to Content tab and scroll to the 💕 Love Story Timeline section. Click + Add Milestone to begin.
Each milestone has four fields: Emoji (e.g. ☕ for first coffee date), Date (day, month, year), Title (e.g. "First Date"), and Description (a short personal note — "We met at a mutual friend's birthday and talked for hours"). Add as many milestones as you like.
After saving, visit your Story Page to see the milestones rendered as an alternating left-right scrolling timeline. Each milestone card has the emoji, date, title, and description — with a vertical connecting line and reveal-on-scroll animation.
Give guests the full run-of-show for your day — arrival, ceremony, reception, and everything after — as a clean vertical timeline on your Event Story Page. Available for every event type, not just weddings.
In your invitation editor, go to Content tab and scroll to the 🕐 Wedding Day Timeline section (shown as Event Day Timeline for non-wedding events). Click + Add Item to add your first moment of the day.
Each item has an optional Section label (e.g. "Wedding Ceremony", "Reception", "After Party"), a Time, a required Title, and an optional Description. For weddings, three quick-add buttons — + Wedding Ceremony, + Reception, + After Party — pre-fill the Section field so you don't have to type it every time. Give two items the same Section label and they'll group together under one heading on the public page; leave Section blank for a plain flowing list, which is the natural fit for a birthday, housewarming, or naming ceremony that doesn't have distinct "phases".
Your timeline appears on the Story Page right after the sub-events grid, as a single-column vertical timeline with a connecting line and dot markers. Items sharing a Section appear grouped under one heading; items with no Section flow as a plain list.
Introduce your entourage — parents, best man, maid of honor, bridesmaids, groomsmen, flower girls, and ring bearers — in a dedicated, elegant section on your Event Story Page.
This section only appears in your Content tab editor — and only renders on your public Story Page — when your invitation's event type is set to Wedding. Other event types (including Nikah, which is its own event type) don't see this section at all.
Fill in Parents of the Groom, Parents of the Bride, Best Man, and Maid of Honor as simple text fields — every one of them is optional, so fill in only what applies to your celebration.
Add as many names as you like to each of the four name lists. On the Story Page, bridesmaids and groomsmen are paired up side by side in the order you entered them — so if you'd like a specific pairing, add names to both lists in matching order.
The Wedding Party renders as a polished two-column card — your entourage on one side, parents on the other. If you leave every field empty, the section simply doesn't appear; there's no empty placeholder shown to guests.

Photographer, videographer, caterer, decorator, florist, bridal makeup, groom's wear, jewellery, venue, entertainment — add as many vendor entries as you like from the Content tab under ✨ Vendor Credits.
Each vendor entry supports a name, role/category, Instagram handle (linked to their profile), and website URL. Guests who love your décor or food can tap straight through to the vendor's page.
Links on a public, indexed invitation page are real organic backlinks — a genuine thank-you gift to vendors that can improve their search visibility. Many vendors actively appreciate and request this.
Vendor credits are displayed as a polished card grid on the Story Page — professional, clean, and in keeping with the invitation's visual theme. Exactly the right tone for a premium event.

Add any external wishlist URL from the Content tab — Amazon, Honeyfund, YourStory.in, or a custom page. A prominent CTA card appears on the Story Page with your custom button label (e.g. "View Our Wishlist").
No external registry? Add specific items directly — each with a name (e.g. "Instant Pot"), optional note ("6-litre, any colour"), and optional product link to Amazon or Flipkart. Items display as individual cards on the Story Page.
Use both features simultaneously — the registry URL CTA card appears above the individual item cards on the Story Page. Useful when you have a main registry and a few extra specific requests.
If you leave both the URL and item list empty, the Gift Registry section is completely hidden from guests. No awkward empty sections — it only appears when you have something to show.

In the Content tab, find the 🎬 Hero Background Video field and paste the Cloudinary MP4 URL. Save your invitation.

eInvit partners with event planners, wedding photographers, and venues across Kerala and India. Partners issue coupon codes to their clients for instant discounts.
Enter your 6-character coupon code (e.g. SAVE20) during account registration, or on your Account page when upgrading a plan. The discount is applied instantly before payment.
Coupons are percentage-based — for example, a 20% coupon on the ₹999 Premium plan saves you ₹200, bringing it to ₹799. The final price is shown before you pay.
Each coupon code is validated once per account. If a code is invalid or expired, the platform shows a clear error message so you can use a different code.

The Settings tab includes a "Show in Search Engines" toggle, kept visually separate from feature toggles since it's a privacy decision, not a product feature. It's on by default — most couples are happy for guests to find their page through Google — but you can switch it off at any time to remove your page from search results and the public sitemap.
Passwords are protected with PBKDF2 hashing, sessions use HMAC-signed JWTs, and Razorpay payments are verified with HMAC webhook signatures. The platform runs on Cloudflare's edge security network.

Entering names in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu script makes the invitation feel warm and personal. eInvit's Malayalam Manjari font and Baloo Chettan 2 render every script beautifully on all devices.
Invitations with a couple or event photo get 2× more guestbook messages. Add at least one good engagement or event photo to the gallery before sharing.
Use the Events tab to list every ceremony — betrothal, church service, sadya, mehendi, sangeet, haldi. Guests appreciate having everything in one place, and the timeline auto-sorts by date and time.
Send your WhatsApp invites at least two weeks in advance. Guests respond faster with a personalised message. A second reminder 3 days before works well for stragglers — the system prevents sending twice.
After creating your invitation, open the public link on your phone and scroll through the full page. Most of your guests will see it exactly this way.
Choosing the right community and event type gives you community-specific templates, correct terminology (Bride/Groom, Person1/Person2, etc.), and event-specific template designs like the White Dove for First Holy Communion or Sacred Thread for Upanayanam.
